OUR SYMBOL

Why did we start this journey?
According to The Law Society, access to justice is a "fundamental principle of the rule of law." Increases in court fees, court closures, and legal aid cuts are progressively eroding access to justice for ordinary people in England/Wales, undermining their ability to exercise their rights.

What if we can change that?
What if the development of automated legal services can improve the time-efficiency and cost-efficiency of providing legal advice?
What if that can allow lawyers to advise more clients and encourage Pro Bono?

When Chief Director Hogan Lee founded the USAD, he believed that one man can be ignored, but as a symbol, we can be incorruptible and everlasting. Students from all around the world have joined forces to build IBM Watson virtual agents using their knowledge in legal services.

Follow our journey, join the movement, and help us improve access to justice for the people in need of our helping hands.
